Pop-A-Lock of Cincinnati wants to remind everyone that the hotter parts of the year are upon us and you really need to have a safety mindset about things like the heat of your car. It's pretty obvious to most people, but we sometimes feel that we need to reiterate the point, you should never leave anyone in your car with it turned off. Child or pet, it doesn't matter. We don't get many cases of people leaving a child in the vehicle, but we have seen situations where people leave their pet in the vehicle while they run to the store. This is not an acceptable practice. It doesn't matter if you are only going in there for 20 minutes or so. A car can get as hot as 125ºF in just a matter of minutes during a hot day, whether you have the windows rolled down slightly or not.
Just be smart and think ahead.
Think ahead. If you think you're going to have to stop at the store for any reason, then don't take your dog along, or take them inside the store if they would allow it. It's not healthy or fair to your pet to leave them in such an unhealthy place.
Also, if you ever make the mistake of locking a child in your vehicle, don't panic. Just get your phone and call your local police immediately, then call
Pop-A-Lock of Cincinnati. We will send the nearest technician immediately to unlock your door completely free. This is just one of the ways we want to give back to the community. This great community deserves it. Save our number in your phone.
